To me, being a Reiki Master, leader of Guided Meditations and author is not a profession, but rather a path I followed. As a wife and mother, I am a natural giver. A giver of love, support and a giver of myself. Following my path in becoming a Reiki Master allowed me to continue to give love and support to many in need. Being a Reiki Master was the first accomplishment on my journey. Guided Meditation and Chakra Therapy is another form of healing that is equally
natural to me and came about while I was running a Reiki workshop.
The benefits of a Guided Meditation and Chakra Therapy class lets the client release blockages preventing them from being the best version of themselves.
I am also an author of inspirational quotes accompanied by photographs I have taken most often while out walking my dog, Mia. The thought behind my quotes was to find a way to reach as many people as I could as I had originally posted them on Facebook. After 3 years of writing these quotes, I followed the next natural progression –
creating a book! My journey is far from complete – I’m excited to see where my path leads me next and invite you to come along!
What is Reiki ?
You can look up the definition of Reiki but still have no idea what it is so let me share with you what Reiki is. It is a method of bringing to light your inner joy, a way to calm and relax you and a way to alleviate physical pain. The way I do this is with love, compassion and acceptance in a sacred space in my home where no judgement is ever passed. Reiki treatments are used for those suffering both physically and or emotionally. Clients will be on a massage table while I gently place my hands on them. Soon after, my hands begin to heat up and an actual exchange of energy takes place. I am literally able to feel emotional issues that the client may be experiencing. For example – pain in the heart center due to loss or relationship issues, or perhaps a blockage in the area around the solar plexus due to a lack of self-esteem. Through conversation, humor, love and compassion, I am able to remove these blockages. Most often one session is not enough but it is a great start.

What is Guided Meditation?
Guided Meditation is a wonderful way (tool) to alleviate stress in your life. Many people tell me they just can’t do it. Who can sit still, repeat a mantra and not think about the laundry they have to fold? The ability to meditate in that fashion without your own mind distracting you is very difficult. Guided Meditation is a wonderful way for a beginner to start. During my Guided Meditation class I speak throughout the session allowing the client to focus on my words rather than random thoughts in their head. I then take the client on a “journey” of my choosing. It might be to a beach, a mountain top or a cabin in the woods. While on this journey I focus on each of the 7 chakras beginning with the base of the spine and ending at the crown of the head, clearing each one as I move up the body. After Guided Meditation classes the client is relaxed and calm.
